How to create one

  1. 1Enter the exact WiFi network name, password and security setting.
  2. 2Choose classic, two-color or gradient styling in QR Color Studio.
  3. 3Wait for the scan check, then download or print the PNG or SVG file.

Frequently asked questions

Good to know

Does it work on iPhone and Android?+

Yes. Most current iPhone and Android devices recognize the standard WiFi QR format.

Can I use my brand colors or logo?+

Yes. Apply a preset or custom data and finder colors, then add a square logo. Downloads stay disabled if the browser cannot verify the design.

Is it safe to enter my WiFi password?+

Generation happens locally. EasyQR Kit does not upload or store your network details.

Why will my phone not connect?+

Check that the SSID, password, security type and letter casing exactly match your router settings.

Practical guidance

Share WiFi access without creating a support problem

A WiFi QR code is reliable when its network values exactly match the router and the printed code is treated with the same care as the password it contains.

Copy the router settings exactly

Enter the SSID with the same spaces, punctuation and letter case shown in the router. Select the actual security mode and enable the hidden-network setting only when the router does not broadcast its name.

The common WiFi QR format works best for personal WPA/WPA2 networks. Enterprise networks that require a username, certificate, captive portal or organization-managed profile may need a different onboarding method.

Use a guest network for public signs

Anyone who can scan the code can recover the encoded network name and password. A separate guest network limits exposure to business devices and makes it easier to replace visitor access without changing internal credentials.

Place printed access cards only where intended visitors can see them. Replace the QR code whenever the SSID, password or security mode changes, because the static image cannot update itself.

Test connection, not just decoding

A scanner may correctly read the QR data while the phone still fails to join the network. Test the complete connection flow on both iPhone and Android, then remove any previously saved version of the network and test again.

If joining fails, compare the decoded values with the router character by character. Check letter case, an accidental trailing space, the hidden flag and whether the phone is within range of the intended access point.
